CHARLES W. OLIPHANT - Founder - deceased

  Charles W. Oliphant was a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, and Harvard Univeresity, where he received a B.S. in Chemistry, M.A. in Geology, and PH.D. in Geophysics. His fields of concentration were Chemistry, Seismology, Geology, and Geophysics. Since 1948 he had been an independent producer in the United States and Canada, engaging in petroleum expolration and production, geological research, and property management.

  Mr. Oliphant was President of Oliphant Laboratories, Incorporated, President of Cuesta Foundation, a director of the Bank of Oklahoma, and a Trustee of the University of Tulsa. Memberships in the geological Society of America, Society of Exploration Geophysicists, American Association for Advancement of Science, Seismological Society of America, Tulsa Geological Society, American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers, American Independent Professional Earth Scientists and sigma XI (Scientific Research Society) were held by Mr. Oliphant.

  He was the past President of the Tulsa Geological Study Group. and is the author of papers published in GSA Bulletin and the Tulsa Geological Digest. He authored reports in the application of geology and geophysics to petroleum exploration, analog, computer, signal processing and analysis.

GREGORY W. OLIPHANT - Chairman of the Board

  Gregory W. Oliphant was named Chairman of the Board of Ceja Corporation in December, 2003. He is a fractional owner of Ceja and an active investor in Ceja's oil and gas prospects as a Managed Member. He Serves as Chair of both the Executive Committee and Compensation Committee of the Baord and is a member of the Audit Committee.

  The Ceja Corporation Board of Directors is comprised of eight individuals: three professional and independent outside directors, four family members and the President of Ceja Corporation.

  Gregory W. Oliphant graduated in 2007 from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, receiving his M. A. in Engineering Management. He recieved a B.A. in Financial Economics from Saint Anselm College, New Hampshire, in 1999.

  He is a member of several professional organizations including the Young Presidents Organization, the Friends of Finance and the Tulsa Geological Society. He has served as Vice President of the University of Tulsa's Family Owned Business Institute since 2010.

DONALD P. CARPENTER - President

  Mr. Carpenter is a graduate of Oklahoma State Univeresity, Stillwater, Oklahoma with a B.S. degree in Psychology, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and the University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma with a Juris Doctorate Degree. He joined Ceja Corporation in 1977. Mr. Carpenter has served as a Director and treasurer of the Tulsa Chapter of the American Red Cross, on the Budget Committee of the Tulsa Area United Way, and Director and vice President of the Tulsa Rowing Association, Trustee and Foundation Manager of Cuesta Foundation, Inc. and is a member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations.

WELDON G. SPITZER - Vice President - Production

  Mr. Spitzer is a 1975 graduate of Texas Tech Univeresity, with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a 1994 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a M.S. in Environmental Engineering. Prior to joining Ceja Corporation in 1981, he was employed by Amoco Production Company as a Senior Petroleum Engineer in the production and reservoir engineering departments of the West Texas Division, and as a Petrophysicist at Tulsa Research. Mr. Spitzer was also employed at Amerada Hess and DP & R Engineering as a Reservoir Engineer, both in Tulsa. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma.

RON SNYDER - Vice President - Exploration

  Mr. Snyder obtained his B.S. in Geology in 1973 and an M.S. in Geology in 1976, both from the University of Arkansas. Prior to joining Ceja Corporation in 2004, he worked for the U.S. Geological Survey, Williams Bros. Engineering Company and was exploration manager for a family owned oil and gas firm in Tulsa for 15 years. Since 1997, he has owned his own exploration consulting and production business. He is a member of the Americn Association of Petroleum Geologists, Tulsa Geological Society, the Oklahoma city Geological Society, and is a registered professional geologist in the state of Arkansas.

Paul G. Rose - Vice President - Land

  Mr. Rose obtained a B.S. Degree in Business from Southern Illinois University in 1967 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1970. Following graduation, he engaged in private practice of oil and gas/real estate/business law for ten years with Tulsa firm of Farmer, Woolsey, Flippo and Bailey. He joined Ceja Corporation in 1981 as Vice President and Land Manager. He is a member of the Tulsa County, Oklahoma and American Bar Associations.

ANN C SCOGIN - Controller

  Ms. Scogin is a 1981 graduate of University of Arkansas with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining Ceja Corporation in 1984, she was employed by the accounting firm, Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Ms. Scogin has experience with the Canadian operations, personal financial accounting for the Oliphant-Mayo families and various investment and trusts operations. She is a member of the American institute of CPAs, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Tulsa Chapter of CPAs and Petroleum Accountants Society of Oklahoma.

NEVIN K. COOPER, CPL - Senior Landman

  Mr. Cooper is a 1978 graduate of Oklahoma State with a B.S. in personnel Management, assuming the position of Landman for Ceja Corporation in 1982. In 1994, he moved to Williams Pipeline before transferring to Williams Communication as Manager of Right of Way. Mr. Cooper rejoined Ceja as Senior Landman in 2002, supervising efforts covering the acquisition of leases and prospect development. Mr. Cooper completed the national certification program for landmen in 2006; he is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen and Tulsa Association.

SAM SHEEHAN II - Production Manager

  Mr. Sheehan is a 1963 graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to employment with Ceja Corporation in 1978, he was employed Exxon in its Production Department. With this concern he served as Senior Project Engineer, District Reservoir engineer, and Division Staff Engineer. As Ceja's Production Manager, he is responsible for all production operations in the U.S., consisting of 185 wells in Oklahoma and illinois. These operations include ten waterflood projects, gas well, gas compressor stations, as well as supervising the drilling and completion operations of Ceja.

KENT FISHER - Drilling and Completion Supervisor

  Mr. Fisher began his oil-field carrer in late 1978 working for various drilling contractors in Oklahoma. He joined Ceja Corporation in 1980, and worked on and operated a work-over rig for 4 years, as well as supervising contract rigs. He was promoted in 1984 to Drilling and Completion Supervisor, working in Oklahoma, Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming, Mississippi and illinois.

STEVE M. HATCH - Geologist

  Mr. Hatch is a 1977 graduate of Ball State University with a D.S. degree in Geology. He has worked for the U.S. Geological Survey, with Dresser Atlas as a Log Analyst and Logging Engineer, and as a Consulting Geologist in the Illinois Basin. He has also done well site work in Oklahoma, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota and Kansas. He is a licensed professional geologist in Illinois, a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist, and a Board Member of the Illinois Oil and Gan Association.

RONALD A. HAVEMAN - Geologist

  Mr. Haveman obtained his B.S. in Geology and a minor in Environmental Science from Hope College and a Masters in Geology from the university of Tulsa in 2002. During his education he had internships at Ballard Petroleum in Billings, Montanna and Unocal in Lafayette, Louisiana. He started with Ceja Corporation in 2002. He is a member of the Illinois Oil and Gas Association.

RICHARD H. CARTER - Director of Geophysics

  Mr. Carter obtained his B.S. in Geosciences in 1977 from Christian Heritage College in San Diego, California. He did work towards a M.S. in Physics at the University of Texas at El Paso in 1978. Prior to joining Ceja in 2007, he was employed by Shell, Tenneco, burlington Resources, Apache, Cimarex, and Pogo Producing Company. Mr. Carter has experience in twelve domestic oil and gas basins (Michigan, Permian, Delaware, Black Warrior, East Texas, Anadarko, Arkoma, Ouachita, Northern Louisiana, Texas onshore, South Louisiana onshore, Val Verde and Mississippian Salt basins). He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the Geophysical Society of Tulsa, and the Kansas Geological Society.
